Adeola Abdulateef Elega

Adeola Abdulateef Elega (Ph.D.) is a lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, Nile University of Nigeria. Previously, he lectured in the department of Eastern Mediterranean University, Northern Cyprus- Turkey, where he earned his PhD with specialization in Communication and Media Studies. He also doubled as the editor-in-chief of Gundem Newspaper while at the university. His research interests are subdivided into the two major sections of the communication and media studies field. Broadly speaking, for media, his interests are emerging media, journalism and, meta-analysis of media studies fields and subfields. For the communication field, he is interested in interpersonal communication and intercultural communication. His peer-reviewed articles have appeared in top communication and media focused journals such as International Journal of Communication (IJOC),Environmental Communication, Journalism practice, African Journalism studies, Public Relations Review, among others.
